Maybe you're here because...
- You’re feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or stretched too thin
- You’ve been carrying grief or pain on your own
- You’re questioning who you are or where you’re going
- Or you’re simply tired of holding it all together for everyone else
If any of this resonates, you don’t have to navigate it alone.
Together, we can create a space where you can explore what feels unseen, process what’s been carried in silence, and reconnect with yourself in a meaningful way.
Who I work with:
I work with adults who:
- Feel overwhelmed, anxious, or stretched thin
- Are navigating grief, loss, or unmet expectations
- Feel disconnected from themselves or their identity
- Struggle with self-worth or feel like “they are the problem”
- Are juggling the demands of caregiving or facing the realities of aging
- Are processing spiritual or faith-related wounds
- Feel displaced in both their current country and country of cultural origin
- Want deeper, meaningful change beyond surface-level coping

What we'll work on together:
I believe that lasting change happens when we understand the roots of our patterns, rather than just managing symptoms. Together, we’ll explore the experiences that shaped how you see yourself and the world, the protective patterns that once served you, and the parts of yourself you may have learned to hide or reject.
My work integrates:
- Somatic (body-based) support for anxiety and emotional regulation
- AEDP to process emotional experiences and foster healing in safety and connection
- IFS to explore and understand different parts of yourself
- Psychospiritual integration, if faith or spirituality is important to you
- Cultural integration and fostering belonging

What clients like about me:
Things I won’t do when you work with me:
- I won't rush your process or push you before you’re ready.
- I won't offer quick fixes or surface-level solutions.
- I won't judge your experiences, beliefs, or emotions.
- I won't force a specific modality that doesn’t fit you.
- I won't dismiss the importance of your cultural or spiritual background.
How I got here:
Maybe you’re here because you’ve reached a point where you’re asking, “Who am I now?”
I became a therapist because I know that place deeply and personally. For years, I was caring for others—working full-time, studying part-time, striving and achieving—while quietly feeling overwhelmed, anxious, and stretched thin. I’ve also experienced grief: the loss of a career identity, dreams that didn’t unfold, and feeling unseen within my own faith community when I was told that I simply needed to “pray more.”
Before becoming a therapist, I worked as a Registered Nurse for over 20 years across transplant, ICU, emergency, post-operative care, and later as a manager in geriatrics at a tertiary mental health centre. Eventually, I transitioned into counselling and psychotherapy for four years at a not-for-profit community centre and returned to school to deepen this work.
As a first-generation Canadian, I carried a strong sense of responsibility to succeed, shaped by my parents’ sacrifices. Over time, I realized my worth was not defined by achievement. That realization deeply informs how I show up today.
I understand what it’s like to feel like you’ve lost yourself while holding everything together for everyone else. I also know that even in uncertainty and brokenness, healing and restoration are possible. That belief is the heart of my work.
When I’m not in-session, you’ll find me watching a K-drama, browsing vintage shops, or enjoying taro coconut milk bubble tea, or a chai/London fog latte. I live in Durham Region with my spouse, our two teenage boys, and our poovanese dog. My spiritual beliefs remind me that even in suffering, we are held, and that transformation is always possible. If my approach resonates with you, I’d love to connect–no pressure, no obligation–just a conversation about how I might support your journey.
