Maybe you're here because...
- Events from your past are preventing you from living fully in the here and now
- Your relationship feels like it’s unravelling or you need to rekindle the spark
- You’re questioning who you are or how you fit in with others
- You’re struggling with anxiety or feelings of not being “enough”
- You’re tired of navigating the minefield of family relationships on your own
Who I work with:
- Feel overwhelmed by the pressure to “stay strong”
- Are navigating trauma or past experiences
- Want to improve their relationships and communication
- Are exploring identity, race, and cultural experiences
- Are seeking a space to show up authentically and be understood
What we'll work on together:
In a world that often demands you stay “strong” to survive, therapy can become the one place where you don’t have to hold it all together. Many people develop resilience as protection, like a suit of invisible armour—but over time, that protection can feel heavy. My role is to help you safely set that weight down.
My work is rooted in:
- Person-centered therapy (you are the expert on your life)
- Trauma-informed care
- Anti-oppressive and anti-racist frameworks
- Processing past trauma
- Building emotional awareness and regulation
- Improving communication and relationships
- Reconnecting with your authentic self

What clients like about me:
Things I won’t do when you work with me:
- I won't ask you to minimize or justify your lived experiences.
- I won't ignore the impact of race, identity, or systemic factors.
- I won't rush your healing process.
- I won't apply a one-size-fits-all approach.
- I won't position myself as the “expert” over your lived experience.
How I got here:
With over 15 years of experience in the clinical mental health field, my work has been shaped by a deep commitment to supporting individuals and communities in meaningful, culturally responsive ways. As a Black therapist, I bring both professional expertise and lived understanding into the therapy space.
I recognize that mental health is deeply connected to the environments we move through daily. This awareness led me to practice through an anti-oppressive and anti-racist lens, ensuring that therapy is not only supportive, but also affirming and empowering.
My goal has always been to create a space where clients feel safe enough to release the weight they’ve been carrying and reconnect with who they truly are.
